Social Networking

We have added this page as a resource for those new, and not so new,  to some of the social and attraction marketing methods – Blogs, Squidoo lenses, YouTube – and social networks, like LinkedIn, Facebook, myspace, etc.  These are great ways to get information out there that links back to you and attracts your target market to you. Social networking is increasing dramatically and the tools within them are changing as well.

We have links to other WorksTeam members pages to not only give people ideas, let them see that you don’t need to be a NY Times best-selling author to write good content, and also to provide a way for us to help each other. If you view someone’s blog or squidoo lens, add a comment, give them 5 stars! The traffic and comments posted on the sites help those who created them, but adding comments gets your “feet wet” in the writing process and also gets YOUR name and links out there for people to see!

If you have created a new squidoo lens or blog that you think would be of interest to others, post it on our WorksTeam blog, or send Wendy an email to let her know.

If you are utilizing Bookmarking in your marketing strategies, you don’t want to only bookmark your own articles or you will be viewed as a “social spammer” and could even get kicked off of Digg and other Social bookmarking sites. Read some of the articles other WorksTeam member have written and “digg” or bookmark them. They will likely return the favor and your bookmarking will be viewed as “natural” instead of “spamming”.
